Solar Power on the Farm!

We are so thrilled to have been able to set up a significant number of solar panels to provide electricity to our house. Our panels were funded in part through a statewide monetary incentive to encourage people to set up solar. Check with your local power company to see if any incentive programs are currently available to you. We have 27 panels and they provide a little more than 1/2 of our electricity to support our home and home-based business. Our solar panels are hooked into the grid so whatever we don't use, we sell to the power company, and whenever we need more than the panels generate, we get electricity from the grid.
